Overview
Teen & Adult 3 (13+ years) focuses on advanced skills and endurance for experienced swimmers. It includes shallow and stride entries, and a compact jump into deep water. Participants will perform legs-only surface support for 30-60 seconds, a back somersault, and swim underwater to recover an object. Skills include eggbeater or scissor kick on the back, breaststroke for 25-50 meters, and front and back crawl for 50-100 meters each. They will practice head-up front crawl for 10-15 meters and complete interval training with 50-meter swims in front or back crawl or breaststroke, with 30-second rests. A 25-50 meter sprint in any stroke and a 300-meter workout are also included. WaterSmart® messages are integrated to reinforce safety awareness.
