Swimmer 3

Overview

Swimmer 3 is designed for children aged 5 to 12 years, focusing on advanced swimming techniques and water safety. In this class, children will practice kneeling dives and forward roll entries into deep water, and tread water for 30 seconds. They will also perform handstands in shallow water and front somersaults in the water. The class includes jumping into deep water, treading for 30 seconds, and swimming or kicking for 25 meters. Students will work on flutter kicking on the back for 5 meters, then reversing direction to flutter kick on the front for 5 meters, and vice versa. They will practice the whip kick on the back for 10 meters and perform front crawl and back crawl for 15 meters each. The class features interval training with 4 x 15-meter flutter kicks and 20-second rests. WaterSmart® messages are integrated to reinforce essential water safety practices.
