Award Holders

An Award Holder is anyone who has completed a certification with the Lifesaving Society of British Columbia & Yukon or who transfers an award from another Lifesaving Society Branch.

Lifesaving Society Award Holders are Members and they play an essential role in public education in their circles of influence, contributing to our drowning prevention mission.

Policies & Insurance

The Lifesaving Society policies guide Members, Instructors, Trainers, and Affiliates. They aim to protect the integrity of training standards, safeguard individual privacy, and guide member behaviour.

The Lifesaving Society of British Columbia & Yukon offers liability insurance to protect Lifeguards and Instructors from workplace injury or property damage.

Lifesaving Society BC & Yukon offers scholarships and grants supporting personal and professional growth, including research, lifesaving sport, and community contributions to drowning prevention and water safety projects.
