We Train Canada’s National Lifeguards
National Lifeguard is the professional standard for lifeguard training in Canada. National Lifeguards are trained by the Lifesaving Society, Canada’s lifeguarding experts, to work at pools, waterfronts, waterparks, and surf environments across the country.
They keep people safe through accident prevention, public education, and rescue response. Most importantly, National Lifeguards save lives.

National Lifeguard – Waterfront
National Lifeguard – Waterfront is designed to develop the values, judgment, knowledge, skills, and fitness lifeguards need. This course emphasizes principles, practices, and decision-making for effective safety supervision in waterfront environments. National Lifeguard pool is a pre-requisite for this 24 hour course.
Lifeguarding Courses
Lifeguard courses enhance the skills, knowledge, and values taught in the Lifesaving Society of British Columbia & Yukon Pre-Bronze and Bronze Medal awards. Focusing on incident prevention, emergency response, and teamwork, these courses aim to maximize safety and enjoyment in aquatic environments. Holding a lifeguard certification carries significant responsibility and rewards.
